These Language Development Milestones provide a way for parents and caregivers of deaf and hard of hearing children to track their children’s age-appropriate language growth. The milestones can be part of the children’s Individualized Family Service Plan or Individualized Education Program for progress tracking. Please check out the California Department of Education website for deaf education information!
