Philosophy
Rooted in our C-L-E-R-C core values, the goal of our school and state partnership program is to educate, inform, and influence the leaders making decisions for deaf and hard of hearing students and families at the district, state, and federal levels.

Community
We believe in educating the whole child and that developing each student’s unique abilities and positive identity is critical for school achievement.
We believe that all students can succeed if they are supported by high expectations and engaged in meaningful, standards-based work.
We believe that early access and the acquisition of linguistic proficiency in ASL and English are integral to deaf students or hard of hearing students’ overall development.
Our Process
The Clerc Center will deliver a comprehensive site review and assessment based on best practices within deaf education. Then, we’ll build an action plan based on the strengths and needs of a program, and complete the engagement with personalized support to leaders through coaching and training.
