Our work is to ensure every child has access to language and that each family has the resources they need to thrive. In partnership with early intervention providers and the medical community, we aim to build a network of tools and resources that help children grow and transition successfully to school and beyond.

Inside ONLINE COMMUNITY
The goal of Setting Language in Motion is to foster an understanding of the importance of early language acquisition that supports robust linguistic competence and conceptual development in children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Early intervention providers, deaf educators, early childhood specialists and allied professionals, parents, and other caregivers will benefit from this resource.
The Clerc Center, ASL Connect of Gallaudet University, and the REAL-South program created six bilingual ASL-English videos to promote early literacy for deaf and hard of hearing children ages 0-5. These books focus on social justice, exploring BIPOC experiences, traditions, and values, while helping families and communities share stories in ASL using five visual strategies.
