Welcome to the 2005 Art Contest Gallery. Below are the paintings, drawings, and mixed media of 63 deaf and hard of hearing student artists, ages 9 to 19, from all over the United States and Canada. If you would like to see an enlarged version of any image, click on it. Viewers' Choice Online Voting. This year for the first time, we are offering a "Viewers' Choice" award. As one of our viewers, you can vote for the images you like. We will give the artist whose work garners the most votes the "Viewers' Choice" award. How To Vote. Browse through the images in the gallery, then decide which ones are your favorites. Click on the online voter's page link below to open up the voting window, then follow the instructions. You may vote "Yes" for as many art images as you want, but you can only vote one time. The online voting page does not contain the images, so you can switch back and forth between browser windows to view the art, then place your vote. Use your Alt + Tab key combination on your keyboard to switch between browser windows. Voting results will be announced later in the year, so be sure to check back to find out who won the "Viewers' Choice" award. Winners Announced. Congratulations to the winners and finalists of this year's contest. Ribbons have been placed on the images below. |
