About the MSSD Internship Program

The mission of the MSSD Internship Program is to provide deaf and hard of hearing high school students with employment and training opportunities that will enable them to develop the skills and attitudes to succeed in the workplace and in society.

All MSSD seniors participate in a year long, off-campus internship experience. The MSSD transition program is seeking internship opportunities for seniors with a wide range of skills and interests.

Prior to job placement in September, MSSD seniors develop on their resumes, practice interviews and discuss workplace/ community culture. The seniors begin internships in October. They will be available to work every Wednesday throughout the school year, with the exception of vacation days.
