24th Annual Winter Dance Concert
Danza Latina

The 2006 Winter Dance Concert was held on February 16th, 17th, and 18th, and included a variety of genres: Latino dance, Jazz, Modern dance, Hip Hop, Pop Luck, Urban Jazz, Funk and Ballet.

This concert featured MSSD students who performed a variety of dance genres choreographed by well-know deaf and hearing choreographers.

This year’s program included dances by the following choreographers:

• Yola Rozynek - Producer/Director/Choreogrpaher - Modern
• Debra Floyd - Urban Jazz
• Tara Downing - Hip Hop
• Bevin McNamara - Jazz/Latino
• Fred Beam - Funk/Hip Hop
• Grace Cooney - Contemporary
• Buck Rogers - Latino Dance
• Miriam Ganz - Modern/Latino

And, performance by the Following guest dance companies:

• Raider Boys Step Squad
• Ziva’s Spanish Dance Ensemble
• Floyd Project Dance Company
• Eleanor Roosevelt High School Dance Company
• Dakshina/Daniel Phoenix Singh & Company
• Wildzappers/National Deaf Dance Theatre
• Canae Weiss
