The GLOBE Program

MSSD is a participant in the GLOBE Program . GLOBE provides an opportunity for pre-college students to collaborate in an actual scientific study. Currently GLOBE students all over the world are taking daily environmental measurements at their schools and sharing their data via the internet. The project entails a partnership between students, teachers, and scientists:

Meeting the National Mission

The MSSD science department is very excited that MSSD has become a GLOBE school and we look forward to sharing our results with deaf and hearing students across the country.

The Team Science Activities Program (TSAP), from Gallaudet's HIBIOS project. For the Fall of 1996, a project to provide start-up activities for teachers of the deaf interested in joining the GLOBE Program.
