Training includes: “Literacy—It All Connects,” “Demystifying Cochlear Implants,” “Portfolios for Student Growth,” and more. --Signing Student Videos Added to Digital Video Project Site-- Digital videos have been added to the digital video project site. The videos, by students, include: ASL poetry and stories, a digital dictionary, an idiom digital dictionary, Kid Witness News movies, math stories, and multiple meaning stories. --MSSD’s June 24 Open House Calls for Participants-- The Model Secondary School for the Deaf (MSSD) has hosted three Open Houses and has another scheduled for June 24. --KDES Tech Fair 2005 Photo Album Shared Online-- Photos from the Kendall Demonstration Elementary School (KDES) Tech Fair 2005 are now available online at: http://clerccenter.gallaudet.edu/ISCS/TechFair2005photos.html. The Tech Fair, held in May, showcased teacher and student work with technology and demonstrated technology with exhibits. --Art Show, National Mission Advisory Panel Discussed in Connection-- The March 2005 issue of the Clerc Center Connection, a monthly publication produced by the Clerc Center’s Training and Professional Development and Publications and Information Dissemination offices, has been posted online. Stories include: “Works by Clerc Center Teachers and Staff Included in the First Community Art Show at Gallaudet,” “12th Annual Meeting of the National Mission Advisory Panel,” “Clerc Center: Making a Big Difference in the Campus Community Campaign,” “An Inspiring Visit to the Birthplace of Laurent Clerc,” “Using ASL in Classroom Instruction,” and others.
