What's new on the Clerc Center Web site? This is the E-Newsletter of Gallaudet University's Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center, which works for the education of deaf and hard of hearing students throughout the United States. The May/June issue of World Around You contains this year's winners of Gallaudet's National Essay Contest. In the essays, deaf and hard of hearing teens record life-turning points which included being inspired while working as a camp counselor and lessons learned from grandfather. KidsWorld Deaf Net (KWDN) recently hosted online chats about the Individuals
