How to get into the GVC06-18 Wiki:

  1. Go to the GVC 06-18 Wiki.

  2. Click Sign in in the top right corner of the page.

  3. Type your user name (KDESfirstname) and password.

  4. Click the Sign in button.

Add a new page and link in the wiki

1. Click New page.

2. Enter a new name for your page: "Your Name's Trading Card." Click Create.

Add a picture to your wiki page

1. Click the Insert image button on the toolbar.

 

2. Browse to your H: drive and select your trading card file.

3. Click Upload File button. When you see your image, double-click it.

4. Click on the trading card and Image Properties window will pop up.
Change the Alignment to Center.

 

5. Click the Preview button if you want to see what it will look like. Click on the Save button when you are finished.

  

Add a link to a wiki page

1. Click on the Trading cards in the menu to the left.

 

  

2. Click on Edit This Page button.

  

3. Type "Click here to see Your Name's Trading Card." Highlight Your Name's Trading Card and click on the Hyperlink button on the toolbar.

 

 

4. Click on Wiki Link. Under Page Name, choose Your Name's Trading Card. Click OK.

5. When done, click Save button.

6. Check your links to be sure they work.

Congratulations you made your first wiki page and link!!!!
