Biggest Challenge Essay Contest

Congratulations to all winners and participants in this year's "Biggest Challenge" Gallaudet National Essay Contest, sponsored by World Around You, in Gallaudet's Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center, and the School of Education and Human Services.

Sixty students sent us their "biggest challenge" essays. They represented 18 different states, including Connecticut, California, Michigan, and Tennessee. One entrant was from Australia. Thirty-six entries were from nine schools for deaf and hard of hearing students, and 24 entries were from 14 public schools with programs for deaf and hard of hearing students.

Thanks to Contest Judges
