Employment opportunities for students are offered in the
Eagle Zone . The Eagle Zone is a student-run enterprise.
Students become involved in all operational aspects of a small
business under the supervision of an adult. As students learn
and apply the concepts of business management, they also develop
leadership skills and learn to take responsibility for themselves.
Students who take part in the student enterprise undergo
intensive training throughout their experience. They learn
basic job requirements, business management principles, record
keeping, sales techniques, and supervisory skills. Students
operate the following:
- Snack bar, open daily afternoons and evenings
- Eagle store, selling school supplies such as paper, pens,
notebooks, and personal articles
- Eagle Zone's games, decorations, dance floor, and cleanliness.
