Some of you have been wondering what I am doing since I graduated from MSSD
in 1984. Graduated from Community College of Philadelphia and Temple University
as B.A. and M.A. I worked as Enterprise Data Management Consultant at United
Nations as that is where my father works in N.Y.C. I am widower and have
my beautiful daugther name is SHAYLA. We lived on Long Island, N.Y. Later
just moved to Elkins Park, PA, near Philadelphia. I do travel lot as my business

Hi there,
To all these people who may remember me as an AFS (American Field Scholarship)
Student from New Zealand. My name is Annette Hansen. I was in Class 84 at MSSD.
Stayed at Dorm C. My room-mate was Svava Johannesdottir from Iceland, she was
an AFS Student as well. Svava and I have been keeping in touch by letters, faxes,
etc since we left MSSD in 1984. To let you know what I have been up to..... I
have been married for 10 years and have a son aged 8 and a daughter aged 6. We
also have two dogs.
I was surprised to read all the messages from Class 84 & 85
whom I knew and decided that I should add my name include as I am from the
Southern Hemisphere. I also realise that MSSD is having a Reunion
in 2000.

I have been married to my wife, Karen (Bosley) for 7 years. We have 3 precious
children: Grace Emma (5), Robert, Jr. (3) and Noah (7 mos). I was a Certified
Therapeutic Recreation Specialist at the Adult Day Program for Mentally Ill
(deaf and hearing) for 5 years in Baltimore before making the transition
to go on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ to establish the first Deaf
campus ministry at Gallaudet University. We are in our 3rd year there now.
Our home is in Maryland east from Washington, DC. I look forward to seeing
old friends some day especially at the reunions.

Hi! I graduated @ MSSD in 1984 and now working for government as "Document
Preparation". I have been transfered from Navy Annex in Arlington for
12 years there and now working in Alexandria, Va near to Old town. My current
job is very tendious but I would like to search for a new better job that
I really enjoy the computer a lot as I am a very talent at typing! :)
I am now residing in Springfield, Virginia and yes, I am a very
naitve from Virginia all of my life! I was born in Danville, Virginia
and moved to Arlington, Virginia which one my lovely parents adopted
me at age 5. I am grateful to have them adopted me as I have my deaf
sister, Kim who is NOT adopted. We are the same age! I am glad that
I went to MSSD and I can imagine if I was never been adopted, I think
I may be at VSDB!! Thank goodness!
I hope you are enjoying your life as I do! I keep myself busy sometimes.
No kids but I am very happy and yes, I am still single and I am enjoying
it a lot!
