Aerie, MSSD’s very own Literary Arts
magazine, was established and sponsored by the MSSD English department
from 1984 to 1996. Aerie was
revived in 2000-2001. Every year, MSSD students submit their favorite creative
pieces (art, articles, essays, graphics, photography, poems, short stories,
etc.) that they worked on during the school year. The student editorial
staff reviews and selects best pieces to be published in Aerie, which reflects
the dwelling of the lofty nest of an eagle on a cliff or mountaintop.
