The following list identifies camps, family learning vacations, and remedial clinics for deaf and hard of hearing children. Some programs are designed for the entire family. Most camp programs require a small application fee to accompany the completed application. Contact the camp sponsor directly for more information about their program.
TTY is a common acronym for text telephones, devices that enable deaf and hard of hearing people to type conversations over the phone. This publication uses the code T for text telephone, V for standard voice phone, VP for videophone and F for facsimile (fax).

Activities: These programs blend excitement, education, and enjoyment into one- or two- week sessions of experimental learinging in Washington D.C. Participation in these programs provide opportunities for high school students to learn about Gallaudet.University and its academic and non-academic programs. They provide great avenues to make new friends with shared interests. Gallaudet's sports camp has helped campers improve their athletic skills, develop a healthy competitive spirit, and practice good sportsmanship through individual instruction and supervised competition. We believe that these qualities are an integral part of achieving success on the court, in the classroom and in life. The camps feature professional speakers, daily instructional films and videos, special contests, and an evaluation of the camper's strengths and areas of needed improvement.
