Gallaudet University consists of many units and departments, each with special missions and clientele. There is no single office that is responsible for all fee- and non-fee-based products and publications offered by our various departments. American Annals of the Deaf

The American Annals of the Deaf is a professional journal dedicated to quality in education and related services for deaf and hard of hearing children and adults. The Annals is the official organ of the Convention of American Instructors of the Deaf and of the Conference of Educational Administrators of Schools and Programs for the Deaf and is directed and administered by a Joint Annals Administrative Committee made up of members of the executive committees of both of these organizations. However, the managing editor is housed on Gallaudet's campus.

Buff and Blue

The student newspaper of Gallaudet University discusses issues of relevance to the campus and issues related to deafness in general. Weekly (September to May). $15/semester; $25/yr.

College and Career Programs for Deaf Students

Co-published by Gallaudet University and the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID), this publication lists college and career programs for deaf students. Gallaudet Today

The magazine for alumni and friends of Gallaudet University, Gallaudet Today reports on important issues related to deafness and events at the university and around the world. It is published twice a year; Subscriptions in the US are $12 and $14 elsewhere and free to Life Members of the Gallaudet University Alumni Association.

Gallaudet University Bookstore

The Gallaudet University Bookstore stocks a comprehensive selection of the most up-to-date materials on deafness and sign language, including books and videos by various publishers, games, gifts, clothing, and more. The bookstore does not accept purchase orders nor do they send invoices for
payment.. When requests for any books, videos, clothing, or gift items are received from individuals or organizations via mail, or telephone, and the products are identified as available from the bookstore, bookstore staff will request prepayment by credit card and process the order.

Gallaudet University Press

GU Press publishes books and other works on all topics relating to deaf and hard of hearing people, including their culture, their native American Sign Language, and the Deaf community. GU Press publishes scholarly and general interest books, children's books under its Kendall Green publications imprint, and sign language and textbooks under the imprint Clerc Books.

Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center's Publications and Information Dissemination

The Publications and Information Dissemination office (formerly the National Deaf Education Network and Clearinghouse) publishes books, videotapes, periodicals, and other information related to deaf and hard of hearing children (birth to 21), their families, and the professionals who serve them. The office assumed the role of distributor for many publications formerly distributed by the College of Continuing Education.
