The American Annals of the Deaf is a professional journal dedicated to quality in education and related services for deaf and hard of hearing children and adults. The Annals is the official organ of the Convention of American Instructors of the Deaf and of the Conference of Educational Administrators of Schools and Programs for the Deaf and is directed and administered by a Joint Annals Administrative Committee made up of members of the executive committees of both of these organizations. However, the managing editor is housed on Gallaudet's campus.

The Gallaudet University Bookstore stocks a comprehensive selection of
the most up-to-date materials on deafness and sign language, including
books and videos by various publishers, games, gifts, clothing, and more.
The bookstore does not accept purchase orders nor do they send invoices
for
payment.. When requests for any books, videos, clothing, or gift items
are received from individuals or organizations via mail, or telephone,
and the products are identified as available from the bookstore, bookstore
staff will request prepayment by credit card and process the order.
