Gallaudet National Contest: Written Essay Rules

• Entrants must be no older than 19 years old and no younger than 9 years old at the time of submission.
• Entries must be at least one page and no more than 1,500 words.
• Entries must be typed in Microsoft Word, double spaced, in 12-point Times New Roman or Arial font, and sent via e-mail attachment to essay.contest@gallaudet.edu by the entry deadline. Entrant's name and e-mail address must be in the document. The contest entry form information should also either be included in the e-mail or the form faxed to (202) 651-5708. Please do not send hard copies of essay entries as these will not be judged.
• Each entrant's name should appear in the "Subject" line of the e-mail. (Please submit only one essay entry per e-mail.)
