Global Virtual Classroom Contest

The Global Virtual Classroom Contest is a global team cooperation and web site-building activity for students from 7 to 18 years of age. Schools from around the world collaborate to build web sites that are judged on the quality of their content and presentation, and on the collaboration. Team 6-7-8's second and third period ASL/English students are teamed with students from two other schools, Hai- Tung  Primary School in Tainan City, Taiwan, and St. Therese Education Center in Parkville, Missouri.

We selected "The Wide World of Sports" as our theme for our web site. All the students and teachers worked together to create a winning web site so we decided to use a wiki (pronounced weekee) to create a framework for our final web site. This wiki allows us to add, delete and edit our work together. Learn more about wiki in Wikipedia and look at our GVC 06-18 Wiki to see how our work progressed. Once the work was completed in the wiki, we transferred it to our GVC 06-18 Wide World of Sports web site.
