Old Mill Tavern
Hessian soldiers arrive at the Old Mill Tavern. As they stuff their bellies with Christmas grub, George Washington’s army crosses the Delaware to defeat the Hessians (German soldiers hired by the British).
Chris & Sean
King George III (played by Sean Harden) agrees to tax the American colonists. Britain is broke after the French and Indian War. He desperately seeks funds to support the British government and soldiers stationed in the colonies.

Crispus Attucks, played by Joe Conard, lies dead at the feet of British sentries in colonial Boston. Attucks led 60 colonials in protesting British taxes and policies in America. The Boston Massacre stunned all of America.

Students celebrate our nation’s heritage marching colonial style with the flag, fife, and drum.
