Our field trip was to learn more about science and particularly the body. We saw the birth process from conception to delivery.

Student comments:

“There were leeches that sucked out the germs and bad blood in the ear and healed the ear,” commented Danielle.

“Diseases occur in many parts of the body. There was a man with an infectious and cancerous nose,” said Elijah.

Miguel added, “The museum had sophisticated technology. They showed us how we can test samples of the endocrine system.”

NaVarro said, “The exhibit had a display of a real brain. It was gross.”

Rebecca commented, “A solider got injured in the arm and the wrist was scattered open by bullets.”

Elijah added that “doctors amputated the arm with mini saws.”

Gabrielle explained that the process was “to stop infections from spreading in other parts of the body.”

Kevin added that Gabrielle and Mr. Wood tried on the apron with a big
