The AIDS Quilt at MSSD

The AIDS Quilt will be at MSSD, November 17, 18, and 19, 1997. MSSD was selected to display two 12 x 12 foot blocks of the AIDS Memorial Quilt as a participant in the National High School Quilt Program. We welcome visitors to our school to visit and share information about the NAMES Project.

MSSD Teams are sharing responsibily for the AIDS Quilt display:

• Freshmen - Educational Programs: collecting materials and planning.
• Sophomores - AIDS poster contest
• Juniors - Public relations - Disseminating information about the display and sending invitations.
• Seniors - Will provide security for the display by monitoring the booth and providing information to visitors.
