A Kindergarten Space and Rockets Project
|
|
Our interest
in rockets and space began with our interest in planes and flight.
As we began to
notice the children’s interest in planes waning,
we placed some books on rockets and space in our classroom
library. This seemed to
spark conversations and interest in this topic.
The children began to incorporate this theme into their play.
During one of our
morning meetings with the children, we discussed possible areas of
interest related to this topic. The
children had a lot of ideas that they wanted to pursue.
We listed these ideas and began to provide opportunities for
the children to explore their interests. Click here to watch our
movie!
