 Kendall School Experts

Electricians from the Physical Plant Department
of our school "show-and-tell."

 Kendall School's Electrical Closet

The electrician explains how wires from different things in the classroom (computers, outlets, switches, fish tank, etc.) are connected to this electrical closet...
and how powerful those live wires can be.

Gabi: "If you touch that wire, you will get shocked!"

The electrician unscrews a "live" switch to show us the "live" wires connected to it.
He warns us of the real danger of touching live wires.
One child documents her understanding on paper.

Our computers have wires that are connected to other wires that:
  • go up the walls
  • over the ceilings
  • to the Electricity closet

We watched this electrician solve the problem of a ceiling light that was not working in one of our offices.

Changing burnt-out light bulbs.
